Janie has made many mistakes in her life that has left her emotionally devastated. From those mistakes she has learned what type of man she needs to love. Janie’s mistake by having a forced marriage showed that love doesn’t come automatically. In her second marriage Janie comes to the realization that looks can be deceiving and how money can cloud the mind. In the third marriage Janie use her knowledge that she Jaine's from she previous marriages use to decide whom best for her. Because Janie made mistakes in her love life she has progressively gotten better at choosing the right husband that would suit her needs.

In the chapters 7-12 i find somethings very intresting. one of the things that i found most intresting was when Joe and Janie got into a argument with each other. i found this intresting because when she said this Joe feels like she rob him of his maleness. Janie felt that she was just defending her self because Joe is always trying to put her down because she is not looking old and he is. i think that joe does resents jaine because she is young and he is geting old and getting more attention than her.so after all this and the argument joe decides to hit janie amd from there their relationship was dead. i also like the part a chapter eight when jody on his death bed and Janie tells him how she feels and what she thinks about him. these are the things that i find intresting in these chapters

one scene that i feel like i was intrested in was in chapter 3. i feel that this was one of the best parts if the story so far because she tell her nanny that even thought she trusts her she dosent feel like she loves her husband.This is intresting to me because her nanny keeps tell janie how that she will fakk in love with him soon, and that she should be happy because that she has a husband that is wealthy and she dosent have to work or anything but janie dosent care about that. i also like this husband and how he was ugly hapter because i found some humor in it. like the part that she was talking about her husband and how he was ugly i found that funny. This is the chapter that i found the most intrest in.
